Un Lobo en la Montaña

“A Wolf in the Mountains” tells the life story of Felipe Matarranz (known as Lobo).

An anti-Franco guerrilla fighter, he refused to choose between exile and death, and went into hiding in the Picos de Europa mountains.

His bond with the forests and peaks, his coexistence with both villagers and enemies, and his fierce instinct for survival—through nights, rain, and snow—turned the mountains into his final refuge.
