After her grandmother’s death, and before Casa Reynal —the house in the village of Bellvís where she was born— is sold, Laia Manresa decides to rescue from oblivion the story of her grandmother’s life: one marked by the journey from the countryside to the city, by the desire to prosper, and by the death of her young son at only eight years old.
